Researchers from Cornell University in New York have developed a technique that allows you to ‘read’ texts by listening to the user’s keyboard strokes. The scientists have built an AI tool that is trained to recognize words by analyzing the patterns of keystrokes on a laptop.
The AI model can translate the typed text with up to 95% accuracy. Even if a conversation was recorded via Zoom, an accuracy of 93% was achieved. So if you don’t want to be bugged on your keyboard, you can change your typing style or use noise-producing software.
